End of the year song

My Way by Frank Sinatra

And now, the end is near;

And so i face the final curtain.
My friend, i'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which i'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and ev'ry highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, i've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what i had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, i'm sure you knew
When i bit off more than i could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and i stood tall;
And did it my way.

I've loved, i've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think i did all that;
And may i say - not in a shy way,
"no, oh no not me,
I did it my way".

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows i took the blows -
And did it my way!

Don't you feel liberated after listening to this classic? I did.

By the way, merry Christmas to all my Christian friends. Enjoy your holiday.

p/s : I'm on leave till after new year. Yay!

Yeah..thats more like it..

Is it just me or wasn't the victory over Hull the most satsifying victory we had this season? Was it great to beat those orange scumbags managed by that fake-tanned old scumbag? Its way better than the win over Liverpool right? Or am I the only gooner who feel this way?

I hate Hull City FC. Its a personal vandetta for me to see them relegated to the conference league. For me they, especially their manager, is an arrogant selfless bastard who thinks by staying in the Premiear League they are a force to be reckoned with. They think they are already 'there'. They seem proud for the fact that they gave the big boys a big scare duirng the first half of last season, totally forgetting the fact that they stunk big time in the next 4 months, just barely escaped relegation. The manager even had the bottle to sing ridiculously after the final game, like they had won the world cup or something. What a total prick.

What really annoyed me was the post game comments made by the manager. Not even once he admitted that his team was outplayed, regrettably in the second half only, focussing only on the foul that led to the free kick and the penalty miss by Geovanni. Lets get it straight here. Diaby went through two of your players, Boateng stick his leg out and from the referee's standing pint, it does look like a free kick. The penalty given was the softest most ridiculous foul ever blown by a referee. It was a joke. the penalty taken was a joke, your team was a joke and you as a man, is and always will be, a freaking joke. Yeah you had your way in the first half, but that was mainly due to the ineptness of Arsenal, it was Arsenal who couldn't even string a few passes together. Once we managed to keep the ball better in the second half, you got no chance. So stop moaning Phil. Instead, you should be thankful Walcott and co. who missed all those chances or you will end up losing 5-0. But hey, then you'd still complain about the penalty miss right?

Oh so glad to see Diaby played well. Keep it up Abou.

ARSENAL 0-3 CHELSEA - The review

Its been coming really. After all the big talk, all the boastings, the blue half of London came and pinned us deep into the ground mercilessly. No need to go too detail about the game really. Put it simply as Men against Boys. We were outplayed from start to finish. So what if we started the first 20 minutes the better? So what if we dominated possession? The fact of the matter is, Chelsea had our numbers even before the game started. They know, we always start games brightly. They know, against that defence Drogba would always have chances. They know, with they can always dominate us physically. And more importantly, they know, that man to man, they are miles better then us. And with a manager as astute tactically as Ancelotti giving orders from the touchline, we had no chance.

Honestly I didn’t have any hope on us winning the match. The best I think we can achieve is a draw, and that was based on the win we got against Ancelotti’s Millan two years back. How foolish I am to think that we can get the same result as that eh? The Chelsea we saw on Sunday worked totally in a different sphere then the team that the manager claims is ‘special’. Thank you for making me believes in that nonsense Arsene.
I cant see anything special from a performance as abject as that.

Shadow of the past..

Its been 4 weeks since I broke out of my Indian-ish nightmare. And these past weeks have awekened me from my ultimate slumber. Long gone my 'sleeping past Subuh till 10am' morning ritual. No more morning laziness. Its Subuh at 6, watch Eurosportnews/Simpsons al il bit, and I'll be off to office by 7.45. Stop by Cyberjaya to drop my wife, and by 8.30 I'll be having my breakfast at my office's pantry. It was like 'culture shock' for a while but I have to realize that Im not at a stage where I can fool around anymore. Its time to knuckle down and buckle up. Its time to become a real engineer.

It all started almost two years ago. The dream of making lots and lots of cash through a career in engineering was on full swing. But after few months, darkness started to cloud my path. As things started to unfold bit by bit, I realized that my young journey in becoming a good engineer was never a bed of roses. I made a mistake in taking everything too lightly thus affecting my judgment in certain matters that need to be taking seriously. I do hope that I could take the positives out of all those ill advised judgment though. I learned to not to believe everything that come out of anyones lips. I learned that India is a decent country full with indecent people. I learned to never put my trust into anyone fully eventhough he is my own race and practice the same religion as I am. More importantly, these tough times thaught me to be stronger and more resilient in taking much more difficult challenges coming ahead. I may not be better off much technically, but personally, I think, and I very much hope, that I am better.

As I went through the pictures of my year and a half Indian-ish experience, it saddened me to think of all the guys that I became close with. One by one, the departed, leaving me behind to fight the losing battle. It started with Sean Chong, followed by my very own boss Alan. Then my desktop buddy, Sakthia, the only person brave enuff to get drunk during office hours, flew away to some hideous company called JKR. From the moment he cleared his desk, the wholesale clearance officially started. I started to ignore all my works, although not so much works though, and started to think about finding another job. In the meantime, the legend of Babo Warriors began. We battled everyday, with each warrior trying to prove that he is the best ball buster of all. The scream of vulgars never stop till one day my team lead broke out the news that he was leaving us. I was like DAMN, if he goes whats left on us? We all think if he is still around we all still have that little glimpse called hope left. It wasnt long before suddenly we were left all alone, without any guidance. One of the great Babo Warriors surendered and went off to shoot some kangaroos instead. Then the 'ole' king went off, heading to kiss some Japanese asses. The asses must have been bad as he spent only a month there before fleeing to another company. The next few months after he vanished was a complete torture. Waking up without any purpose to live is the most crucifying catastrophy that I have ever suffered.

The emergance of the new war was a major salvation for all of us. Finally something to keep us occupied. The DOTA battle was strainous. We ignored all the bruises and scars and picked up our weapons to battle again and again. We fought for the throne, we defended our castles, we ravaged villages. We forgot all about our problems until one day 3 of the remaining warriors decided that they have had enough. They said they could not endure the pain anymore. And there were me, along with Thana, left alone to continue with the pointless losing war. Though we were sparingly joined by Dev, his presence was not much helpful as he was aided by the higher power from the land far far away. It was so unfortunate that the higher power could not lend anything for me and Thana thus leaving both of us barely breathing for air. We tried to get help from others but to no avail. Everyday, we came to office bearing in mind that we will be bombarded with swords and arrows as the attack on us intensified. We stood our ground, we fought with honor, but deep inside we knew we had to get some help. We never gonna win the war anyway and anyhow. Both me and Thana however swore with our lives that we would never succumb to defeat. We were determined not to let those pesky iron claw beat us.

The moment when Thana told me he was leaving really broke me. How could he leave me here alone? Damn. After all weve been through? I keep telling myself its for his best that he leave. He has got himself a way to win the war. However I was in total dispair. There was a time when I thaught of surendering. I was ready to throw my towel. Then, out of nowhere, a saviour emerged. It offered me weapons to nullify the enemy, and end this war once and for all. The war that cant be won suddenly became winnable. Finally I was able to wipe the smug out of that devil's face. I still remember the day when I came out of the office with a broad grin on my face. The day when I let it all go. The day when I let it all out. I was a glorified victor. The reaction on his face was priceless as I bombarded him with my saliva filled anger. As I slammed the door shut, my heart pumped heavily, sending blood of pride into every vein of my body. It felt like a heavy burden was lift off my back. I won.

Here I am now. striving again, starting from square one, wanting to become a good engineer. Its gonna be a long hard struggle, but I believe my battle hardened soul has been fully equipped to face any challenges ahead. They said to earn you must suffer. After all these? True to every syllable.

p/s: Send your prayers tp my wife who is carrying my soon to be born baby. Your prayers do help. It has been proven scientifically FYI.

Thanks Mike

Today, the greatest basketball player of all time, the man responsible of making me fall in love in the game itself, was an official Hall of Famer. Its been years since he stepped his famous pair of Nikes onto the court, but everytime I watch NBA his presence still lingers. I dont know why, whenever I see Lebron or Kobe, I cant stop myself from comparing them with Jordan. Both of them have legitimate claim to be one of the best, maybe they are the best of their generation but the same level as Jordan? Better than His Airness? Sorry Lebron, until you can shoot better, consistently make those crucial free throws and most importantly win a ring you cant stand beside Jordan yet. And for Kobe, start being a better teammate, and try to win a championship without an all star center for a start. And also, stop believing yourself to be a great defender. You are just a very good defender, not a great one. Try be a 10 time all defensive team before you can call yourself one.

Michael achievements surpass every man's dream. Hes won every single accolades served on the table. I cant think of any athlete who left such a big hole to fill in any sport. He got too many memories to be cherished. The flu game. The 63 at Boston. The 51 at 38. The 43 at 40. The battle with Dominique. The double pump reverse lay up. The mid-air-hand-changing move. THAT dunk. THAT shot. All those buzzer beaters. This guy practically stop a host of Hall of Famers from winning a ring. Malone, Stockton, Barkley, Miller must have regretted to have played in the same era as Michael Jordan.

Mike, the basketball world misses you.

Thanks for all the memories.

3 in the morning

The time is 3.02 am. Im blogging while watching tv. The wife ordered me to get her mee goreng mamak and teh oh ais and ended up taking only 3 spoon feed before feeling all queasy again. It started with Mc Donald's mc chicken two days back, followed by mamee slurp cup and asam yesterday. All ended with the same results, few bites and her stomach full already. As a glorified food cleansing man it is up to me to find any inch of empty portion of my big belly to stuff in all the leftovers. Im not expectin any weight reduction after this Ramadhan.

Whats the menu for tomorrow?

Champs league here we come

So what if Eduardo dived? Everyone does it rite? Dont get me wrong I am totally against this sissy-like action but the commentators made so much fuss about it like the dive was some kind of football catastrophe or something. Seriously, did these guys really think without the dive the result would be different? In the course of 180 minutes Celtic managed to get a massive TWO shots on target. Thats Tee--Double You--Owh TWO. And the second was the 92nd minute goal which at the time the Arsenal players' minds were already at the showers. That doesnt make them an unlucky losers not by a bit. Sorry, but diving or not, you cant hide the fact that Arsenal were miles better than their Scottish counterpart. Plus, when Gerard and Rooney dived, they didnt cause quite a commotion did they? Stupid Arsenalism this pundits are. Just because we dont play Englishmen they always treat us like scums.

Oh just read that Celtic want Eduardo to be banned for two matches. Then banned Owen for that dive against Argentina or Rooney for the one against us few years back. Those dive have more impact on the outcome of the match than any match you can think of. Stupid. Really. What on earth are they thinking. Seriously stupid.

p/s: In the next 8 months I shall put myself in as best behavior as I can. Hoping all will be well. Alhamdulillah, thank You Allah for your blessings.

Nahh..its the same old

Its the same old Arsenal isnt it? Yeah we did win 3 out of 3 and I aint complaining. But we still keep conceding stupid goals and we always love to give the opponent a glimpse of hope to gain something out of the game. The over confidence is till apparent, the lackasidal attitude is obvious and the low-concentration from our full backs is still a problem to solve. Guess old habits die hard eh? By the way, Portsmouth wont struggle if they keep playing like they did. Kudos to the manager then.

Cesc is injured. Damn. And we got Man U doming up. Double damn.

p/s : Happy Ramadhan guys. I think Nasri injured himself purposely so he can fast this year. Serious. And next week I wont be able to watch the Man U game. Geng2 Arsenal jgn marah. Gua sayang bini gua. So apehal lu nak kecoh2?? HAha

Monday, August 17, 2009

*grin* hik hik

So what if we dont replace toure? So what if we dont buy a DM? So what if we play 4-3-3? As long as we can win 6-1 away then what else do you want? Wednesday morning, Celtic, the roaring Hampden Park, Champs. League qualifier next. Prove to the fans that wasnt a fluke.

p/s : Song was superb. I hope he can play like that every week.

Time to get serious

Ok people. Its 2 days away before the start of the new season. Honestly theres never been a season which i anticipate as much as this one. Im sitting on the fence regarding our chances this season. On one hand I think we can surprise few ppl. What if Walcott finally fulfill his potential? What if Arshavin turn out to be the second coming of Bergkamp? And Cesc become the old Cesc again? But on the other hand I dont think we are ready enuff to be challenging for the title AGAIN this season. Quite how Wenger keeps assuring fans that he believes in the strength of our squad is beyond me. I dont see how the same squad which struggled last season can somehow improve dramatically to be a title challenger. While it is true that the other so called 'big four' are significantly weakened, that does not mean they are weaker than us. Though they have lost some key players (Ronaldo, Teves, Alonso), they didnt wait long to reshape their squad. And sadly for Arsenal, we havent doing nothing to overcome last season debacle. How in the world can we cope without Adebayor and Toure especially, without buying new players? The lost of Ade can be comprehended but Toure? Can Vermaelan replace him and be the gut busting defender Toure used to be? Or will Wenger sign Hangaaland? No one knows bar the boss himself.

Im gonna preview the new season now. Keep in mind theres still a little percentage in my heart that still believes that Arsene knows. A belief that will keep me supporting and cheering for Arsenal no matter how bad the situation we got ourselves in. Here it is

Goalkeeper :

I bet most of Arsenal fans cringed when Almunia step in as the new number one a couple of seasons ago. Whos complaining now? This guy totally saved our butts in a lot of occasions last season. Especially in the Champs. league semis first leg, which he produced saves after saves to give us hope for the second leg. I dont think thers many keeper better than him in the league now. Other than the declining Cech, hes on par with Van der Sar (whos old enuff to be Jack Wilshere's dad), Friedel and Reina as the best keepers in the prem. Behind him is a sure worry though. Fabianski had an up and down season last year. In some games he looked good, and in some he seem incapable of catching anything but air. This maybe down to experience so we shall see how he progress this season.

Defence :

As I have already mentioned the defence is a big worry. Silvestre is a disaster waiting to happen and Djourou is already injured ahead of the season opener. That leaves us with Gallas and Vermaelan, both of whom should be our main pairing this season. If either of them got injured we are doomed as nor Silvesre or Djourou are capable of performing week in week out consistently. They said we have problems with crosses but we cannot ignore the fact that we still vulnerable with straight through ball that open us up like butter. We had Toure to make those gut busting last ditch tackle but now hes gone and the hope is on Vermaelan to replace him. Moving from Holland to England is a big step up so I really hope that he is up for the challenge. The fact of the matter is the defence was shite last season and major reinforcements are needed. There are no two ways about it. We need tough centre backs and we need them now. Dont wait till the end of August please.

Left back is the least of our problem. We have 3 players (Clichy, Gibbs and Traore) who are experienced enuff to carry the responsibility whenever they are call upon. Clichy was at his worst last season, making costly mistakes time and time again. Lets hope he can recover his best form this season. Gibbs is still raw and was occasionally exposed last season, especially in THAT game at Anfield. However the experience of last season shall do him good though. Same with Traore, who although played mostly on the wings last season at Portsmouth, is still a dangerous full back. He needs to work on his defensive prowess though.

At right back, I have no worry with Sagna at this moment. The guy is fucking tough he gives the impression he'll kick anyone who come breathing on his neck. And then there is the guy called Eboue. Sigh. I do think the reason Wenger doesnt let him leave is because we dont have any capable right back other than Sagna. I have no problem with the right back Eboue. Its the right wing Eboue i despise.

Midfield :

If the pre season is something we can count onto we need to get used to a 4-3-3/4-5-1 Arsenal this season. When we look at the players we got it is a sensible move by the manager though. Song will be the anchor behind the pairing of Cesc and Diaby/Denilson/Nasri/Rosicky with either of these two can support the lone striker up front. Although I think we still need another defensive midfielder, lets see how far Song has come. He made a huge stride last season and if he continues to improve hes gonna be a big part of our team. However he will be gone for few weeks in January (ACN), so unless Wenger plans to put Denilson in that position, we need a new one. Denilson is more Fabregas than everything, so to expect him to put on performance on consistent basis is ridicule. So Arsene, get your wallet out and start spending. If Song doesnt progress as much as we hope we can forget about the top four, let alone the title. Remember the straight through ball that cut open our defence like butter? A good defensive midfielder can stop that from happening right?

Forward :

I dont know why some ppl question the manager decision not to replace Ade. Ok two years ago he was irreplacable but base on last season he has become an excess baggage on our team. With Arsene going more with Robin as our lone striker and Walcott/Arshavin flanking him, we dont need an Adebayor in the team no more. With Eduardo looking sharp again we now have at least 3 players with potentially 15-20 goals in each of them. I havent yet mention Vela (outstanding in GOLD cup final) and the now number 52 Bendtner, who themselves can bag a few more goals for us. Add the exciting Wilshere on the list, and we are looking at a massive potential here.

Overall, I think the manager is banking on some players to improve massively from last season showing. He decided not to spend more during the summer so the likes of Walcott, Vela, and the returning duo of Rosicky and Eduardo will have to contribute hugely this season. We have a difficult start to begin with, with Celtic and the Manchesters will all be facing us in the first month of the season. I believe we are a defender and a midfielder away from being competitive again, and with other teams weakened, everything is in our hands. Heres hoping for a joyous season ahead. Good luck Arsenal. I'll be cheering you on.

Film Reviews

Me and the wife managed to get ourselves to watch 3 movies in a week. See THREE movies. How movie buff are we ehh?? So here are the reviews. And yes, my reviews are better than those you can read in celebrity mags. Trust me on this. When I say a movie sucks, i.e Transformers a.k.a worst-plot-ever-but-blinded-the-audience-with-cgi, it does suck. So here it goes. 3 movies crammed in one post.

1. Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Boy the boys and girls of Hogwartz have all grown up dont they? Honestly, I dont know how to categorize this 6th part of the boy wizard series. Is this a love story? An action movie? A comedy? Seriously I dont know. As always, they just couldn't transfer the excitement from to book (which I read TWICE) into the big screen thoroughly. Yeah in the end of the movie Snape did tell Harry he was the half blood prince. But just like that? Theres no clue along the movie trying to tell us who was the prince. The movie never let us guess weather Dumbledore or Snape was the brilliant student disguising himself as the half blood prince. And why did he call himself the half blood prince then? How did he come up with that 'Sectumsempra' then? If you dont read the book you'll never know. The movie focused more on some stupid stuff, such as the love between Ron and some girl (I forgot her name, shes just not worth remembering), the flowering relationship between Harry and Gina Weasley, Harmioine's jealousy and others. I wonder why didnt they put more emphasize on how Draco Malfoy turned into a Death Eater, how did Snape become half blood prince, and like in the book, the cursed relationship between Dumbledore and Tom Riddle. That would make the movie much better. However the movie was still very enjoyable though. The battle between good and evil portrayed in it was thrilling, occasionally funny and visually stunning. They toyed with your emotions too. The acting was brilliant, with the boys and girls all turned out to be decent actors arent they? Especially to Daniel Radcliff, who I think was totally believable as a boy struggling with his destiny. All in all, its a good movie to spend your two hours on. In the battle between the summer's blockbusters, this one was the clear winner, beating that robot-orgy movie down to earth.

Rating - 7/10

2. The Taking of Pelham 123

Im a big Denzel Washigton fan. Rarely his movies ever disappointed me. However this one..urghh..not good sir..just not that good. The plot and direction were horrible leaving gaping holes here and there. How did Dennis Ford turned into Bernard Ryder, the sadistic and vicious yet brilliant criminal? What made Garber take that bribe? No, you cant just say child education as the answer for everything please. There have to be something else. And whats with the boy who was cyber-sexing with his girlfriend on the train? Totally inappropriate. In the end Garber, the naive soft spoken guy, able to gather all his strength and courage to single handedly disrupt Ryder's plan resulting death to all of the villains. So easy. So fucking easy. As brilliant as Ryder was he was easily outthought by a train operator. A fucking train operator. Oh right, a bribe taking train operator which made him a criminal too (whats the point here??!??!). What a time waster this movie was.

Rating - 3/10

3. The Proposal

Just watched this one last nite. When it comes to romantic comedy trust Sandra Bullock to deliver. Few actress can make a rom-com as enjoyable as she does. She seems to have good chemistry with any actor shes paired with, and for this one she and Ryan Reynolds looked perfect for each other. Though the story line was recycled (as most of the rom-com genre) there were something about this movie that preventing it to be another snore fest. It wont disappoint most of movie goers for sure. All in all, a feel good movie, which will leave you happy-hearted in the end.

Rating - 6/10

I promise I'll write about Arsenal next time.

Alone but not lonely

Here i am again alone and idling myself to bore. Time flies by nonchalantly like nothing matters. Im starting to question my purpose to live. I feel like a useless brat struggling to find his place in this world. Theres a wall of brick and steel around me compounding and suffocating me to death. Im still searching my way out of this shit hole this stinking place of crossing identity. And the chance to flee kept slipping away from my hands..again and again..

Haha nice blabbering eh? I just got back from having one hell of a good time far far away from here. Yeah Bukit Tinggi Indonesia (my kampung laa FYI) was unique in its own way. The people was nice and friendly, though some of them do have mischievous attention hiding behind their grind. Mind you, we were treated like kings during our stay there. They do appreciate company well. Most of them, sorry, all of them drive like maniacs. Wait, they were worse than maniacs. For them overtaking is a must to be earn a driving license. Also, if you were born with a stick like object between your legs, you must smoke. If you dont, they will cut your danglers off and hang it for everyone to see. And they have the worst public toilet you can ever imagine. Say it, weather a toilet without a toilet bowl (can it be called a toilet then?), a toilet with a reverse toilet bowl, a toilet without sanitary, they all have it there. I assume they are the most creative dump taking ppl ever exists in the history of mankind. Enuff with the ppl, the place was fucking marvelous. The air was as clean as you can ever breath, and its hard to pour even a single sweat out of your stinking arm pits. It was so fresh and cold you feel like hell when you touched back in Malaysia. To all guys out there, if you want to take your wife for a trip here, do prepare yourselves with bucket load of greens. The place is a shopping heaven for women. Girls might even faint to see the goods sold here.

I want to write about Arsenal again, but Ive been in the wilderness for the last four days and still trying to catch up with all the news related to the gunners. Its been one depressing summer isnt it? Just realized there is some euphoria regarding jack wilshere. Wtf? The guy is fucking 17!! Leave the kid alone!! Till then ciao.

The hardest part is?

Guess what? Ive been married for 54 days!!! Whoaa!! It feels like forever man!! Lots of stuff to learn though. Though Im still trying my best to get the hang of it, the last 54 days were truly enjoyable. Other than the thing that husbands and wives do, (u know what I mean right?), there are lots of other stuffs for me to become expert on. The single most differentiating aspect between married and single life is the decisions you make. No more self-centered decisions. Everything now revolves around you and your wife. And to be honest it was hard at first, but slowly Im getting used to it. Im embracing every day of my life like an adventure now. Absolutely loving it. And for those single living people, find a girl you can fuck legally. Its the ultimate stress-reliever (especially essential in the current state that I am in rite now).

So whats new in my life? Other than taking care of my beloved wife that is. Well nothing much. For start I still work at the same fucking company. Got a couple of job offers lately but unfortunately have to turn them down. A year ago I would accept them without any hint of hesitation but not now. This is one of the 'self-centered decisions' that I should abandon from now on. Although the offers, especially the second one was highly attractive, well its kind of my dream job really, due to the obvious reason i turned them down flat. I guess its a sacrifice you have to make once u committed to married life eh? Nah it doesnt bother me that much though. As long as I can go home to someone who can bright me up its fine then. Its great u know to go home and theres someone who welcomes u with open arms. Someone who makes u feel wanted. Someone who makes u feel important. A truly wonderful feeling. Plus you can eat great food every day!! Hahaha..beat that non-married ppl!! :)

To be honest sometime i do feel torrid, thinking how on earth a pity like me can survive marriage. Its never been easy. These 54 days seem like been going on forever. Already i have been forced to make a lot of decisions which some were really hard to take. Already i have sacrificed a lot. Hopefully all things will turn out great in the end. I am so lucky i got myself an incredible woman by my side. They say its hard to find a true woman these days. If that is true i must be truly blessed by Allah then. Shes the only reason i can sleep well at night. Shes the reason i can put my happy face on. Though she might get irritating sometimes, what the heck, after all shes been through for me, she deserves to be irritating once in a while. I just have to remember after these hard times theres always good times. The challenge to stay strong together is terrifying. A simple misstep can cause trouble. Im just glad I can always count on her to back me up during these hard times.

And the hardest part of all these is?

Definitely, is to be apart. Without each other I am doomed babe. Ill try not to stay away from you as long as I can.

Promise.

Double promise.

Film Review – Public Enemies

The story revolves around a bank robber whose exploits dominated the press during the deperession era, and also what is sometimes referred to as the public enemy era, between 1931 and 1934. When the film main attraction is some fella called Johny Depp, expectation will automatically rise to another level. Come on, this is the man that made the pirates franchise astonishingly enjoyable, even though the movies themselves, especially the final one, was crap. Add Christian Bale (the Batman of course) into the equation, and you should have one heck of a movie. There are moments in the film that will make your eyes heavy but they were matched by some brilliant moments as well. This is where Depp really shines. His portrayal of a vicious criminal who struggles with love and finding his place in the world was top notch. You got to feel for Johny Delinger. As bad as he was, he was so charismatic, cool and always find a way to survive. Thumbs up for Depp for that. The storyline was decent, and I especially love the gun shooting scenes. The sound of guns blazing and blasting everything was great, it made me feel like I was in the 30’s. Also the cat and mouse game between the bank robbers and the police was good, although it would be better if they made the fight more even. Enuff with the chit chat, here are some hot points regarding the movie.

1. Johny Depp was fucking brilliant. He made me rooted for the bad guys. Although I knew eventually Delinger will die at the end of the movie, Depp made me hoped that he didnt. His cold blooded but somehow innocent portrayal of a vicious gang leader was like never seen in any mafia themed movies before. Simply original.
2. The meticulus detail of the cinematography. Damn it why cant Malaysian movies shot like this.
3. The overall acting was great. This is real actors’ work. Take note Megan Fox.

Some not-so-hot marks

1. I wonder why they didnt dig further into why Johny Delinger started to rob banks. Yeah we were told at the start of the movie that they were in the depression era, but any image of the economic misery that made Dillinger a criminal, and eventually a folk hero was missing.
2. Marion Cotillard. Shes just not THAT hot. Nice acting though.
3. Errr that is all.

All in all, this is a great, but not Godfather type of great, movie. Any mafie-themed loving audience would love this movie. So go ahead, spare your twenty bucks and relive the era when the tommy gun rules. You wont be dissapointed.

Film Review - Transformers : Revenge of The Fallen

First of all let me tell you, as a youngling I was a Transformers freak. Well back then every single person with a couple of balls hanging under their crotch must love Transformers. That was the rule. If you dont know transformers, if you dont know who optimus prime is, take a knife cut out your dick and be a girl. Dont blame me for saying it. That was just how things go back then.

Any avid transformers fan must have anticipated the sequel of the brilliant-yet-quite-not-so-brilliant transformers movie. I was a little dissapointed with the first movie to be honest, as I think they can tweak some of the scenes a lil bit. First of all,how about making the fighting scene between Prime and Megatron a lil bit longer and brutal? If you watched the animated film, the first transformers animated movie, the battle between the two leaders was engaging, with both parties took hit after hit and some more hits. Body parts went flying, and fatalities beckon for each side. Compare the two battle scene and you would see what I meant. The cartoon would kick the real-life movie arse way up to the orbit. The acting was also average, mostly due to the robotic Megan Fox. What would she do if she doesnt have the ‘package’ to show off? And please, the autobots never use the human artilary to help them defeat the decepticons. They just dont.

The large number of crowd gathering outside the cinema didnt dither my spirit even by a bit. I was determined to get my hands on the movie tickets no matter what it takes. As I stood patiently in the long, (I mean loooooooooong) line I couldnt even concentrate on my wife’s chattering as my mind was completely swayed by the prospect of spending the next few hours adoring the robots that I so fell in love with back a couple of decades ago. Dragging my wife’s hand. I walked hastily towards my seat. My heart was pumping heavily. I couldnt believe how excited I was. I was expecting a much improved sequel. They must have learned their mistakes of the first movie right? As I waited for the annoying cinema ads to end, the image of a young me clouded my mind. A boy was crying. He was begging and screaming. As he was pulled away by his ignoring father, he glanced his sad teary eyes for one last look at it. Oh Optimus Prime Action Figure, how the world would been different if I can hold you in my arms…

Two and half hours later, it was all over. I was distraught. Personally that was one of the worst money I have ever spent on movie tickets. The storyline was embarassing. Too many loopholes. Too many lame and inappropriate scenes. The movie brought shame to the Transformers franchise. First of all, since when did Optimus Prime became so heavenly strong and powerful? Did he go for some kind of SEAL training with the U.S navy? How come he be three time stronger than Megatron? For as long as I know, those two always fight equally. Megatron never need anyone to help him fighting optimus. That brings me to another issue. Megatron listen only to him and himself only. He never obey anyone. He even despised Unikorn and betrayed him. To see him kneeling to the fallen (who looked like and old witch) is hurting me. Here he is, one of the most iconic villains totally ripped off of its originality. You dont do that to Megatron. The fans expect Megatron to be as evil as he always be. Hes a no nonsense ‘I’ll kill anyone who try to oppose me’ type of character. Now hes become a pussy. Dammit, heres the list of the humiliating facts of the movie..

1. As I said above, the sudden increase of power by optimus prime. In the first movie, he struggled to match Megatron. In this movie, Megatron need two accomplices just to help him touch optimus.
2. Again, how the destroyed Megatron’s character. I missed the old gun slinging ‘Tron.
3. The acting. Sorry Megan, you are not an actress. You are a porn star trapped in a PG13 movie.
4. The story line was as engaging as a Razak Mohideen movie. Pointless and lacking depth. How to turn a bag of dust into solid? Easy. Let a bunch of primes come to your dreams and the dust will magically turn into a solid steel material. How to find a long lost tomb? No archeologist needed. Have a couple of annoying robots fighting about nothing and suddenly they will crack open the path for you.
5. Lots of delible scenes. We dont want to see a drunk Mrs Witwicky please.
6. How dependant the autobots are on the U.S army. It was like they cant win without their help. And check out the strength of the U.S army. They can kill a big fat ass decepticon with one shot. Wow. Even optimus will struggle to match that.
7. Just like optimus, bumblebee strength has grown rapidly. Maybe if they show a scene showing both of them training with Jet Lee, that will satisfy the audience better.

As a conclusion, I strongly recommend any movie goers to give this one a skip. Wait for the pirated DVD to come out. I waited in a the longest of lines to get my hand on the tickets and in the end that was the worst time wasting I have ever done. Ill review some other movies later. Till then ciao.

The flaws of Wenger Pt II

Ok then. We need another Viera-esque player. Song or Denilson is no answer for that problem. I think all gooners agree that Wenger need to spend a little more than he used to on this area. We dont need another 17-20 years old type of player. We need experience. As I mentioned before its either you have it or you dont. You can teach kids natural instinct. The ability to notice everything and anticipate whats going to happen around you. You can see if a player has it in him or not. Fabregas got it. Arshavin has it. Rosicky and Hleb have it. Offensively that is. None of our defensive player look capable of reaching the heights of their predecessors. None of them can cover as much ground as Vieira while maintaining the team attacking impetus. In Arsene's football everyone must know how to attack. Everyone must have the ability to add something to our offensive ability. Everyone bar the keeper obviously.

In that lies the brutal truth about the current squad. While offensively we are one of the best in Europe, we are Newcastle like in defending. There is no protection in front of the back four. Teams often find their passing range against Arsenal. Why? How does a team like Fulham can pass the ball around our midfield confidently? Wenger always emphasize the importance of sharing responsibility among the players. Everyone is responsible for any of their teammates' mistakes. Thats why he never implement man marking. Furthermore, due to his extravagant offensive mind set, zonal marking is used every game no matter who are we playing against. In zonal marking players dont have to be responsible in marking a certain player. They dont have to follow a player tightly as he moves all around the pitch. This system will make counter attacking much more effective. Once the ball is recovered, the players will be positioned at their stationed zone and that will make it easier for Fabregas and co to find their passes. You always see Fabregas passes the ball quickly as he received it. One of the reasons is that he already knows where the nearest players are and he has the brain to figure out which pass is benefiting the team. However zonal marking necessitate a defensive midfielder with a great defensive instinct. As I said before we desperately lack one now. A naturally instinctive defensive midfielder will organize the zonal better. He will patrol his zone and always remind everyone about where the danger is coming from. Arsene has implemented the zonal system since the first day he came to London and only now the system is questioned. Thats because for the first time in his time at Arsenal he doesnt have a player that can stabilize the team once the ball is lost. You dont see Song or Denilson running back quickly and barking at their teammates to concentrate or buck up. Vieira and Gilberto used to do that efficiently. Now that they are gone, we are incredibly short in the midfield department. I stated earlier in the season Arsene needed to spend heavily in the central midfield area. Again, as the summer looming, I stressed the importance of another Vieira like player in our squad. Unless that Arsene wants to change his system, which he might not, that is.

Till the part III of this post. Chalo.

The flaws of Wenger

Well I told u im not going to talk about football anymore rite? The football season is over rite? Sorry mate. Football is in my blood and it aint going nowhere. After the weekend debacle, my feeling towards Wenger seem to be transforming from respect to anywhere near 'stubborn grumpy old bastard'. Hes got to realize that his style of play aint working no more. He saw the same group of players train in front of his bare eyes but still he keeps denying the obvious truth. We are not just one or two experience players short of being a title contender. We cant blame youth as part of our problems anymore. How can we say that when 'young' Gael Clichy or Fabregas, while they are 23 and 21 respectively, have had first team professional football experience for almost 5 years now. They have both won honors, wheather domestically or internationally. I cant help my burning anger everytime i heard Wenger said we are still in 'learning' process or 'rebuilding'. Its 4 years now since we last won something significant, and even that was a lucky shootout victory. Im not as astute as the boss, but as a fan i am entitled to my own opinion. I chucked out a hefty sum of my own salary for anything related to my beloved Arsenal FC. I demand changes from the boss. I have the right to be demanding. I want to see us winning trophies again. I want us to be challenging for top honors again. I have lost the feel of anxiety watching our team fight tooth and nails with Man Utd for the league title. Heck I cant even remember the feeling anymore. Remember all the years when we would destroy all the teams around with our pace and power? Remember the full blooded war we used to have against those damn devils? I did..but sadly I cant remember the feel of those moments anymore. It has been that long. Therefore I really hope the boss will make some drastic changes to the team. Kick out all those useless youngsters. Review our system. Kill Adebayor. Sell Diaby to Real Madrid. Those type of changes.

Arsene Wenger believes that football is evolving. He believes that football in the future will be played on the ground, where small players glide elegantly around the pitch exchanging positions with each other. He cited Spain Euro 2008 winning squad as example. He tried to implement what he had seen in the Spanish team into his Arsenal squad. However, for some reasons, he neglected the main fulcrum of that Spanish team. For all the flying fullbacks and the intricate triangle passing, the Spanish always played with one out and out defensive midfielder. It doesnt matter if its Senna or Alonso, they will always have one player who is intelligent enough to patrol in front of the back four.In intelligent I mean that the defensive player knows where the danger is coming and will shut the space down quickly, and he is also capable of doing the occasional forays toward the opposition goal. At Arsenal we have Denilson and Song for that position. The problem is that both of them dont have the required intelligence to play in the system. How many times do we see teams counter attacking through the Arsenal midfield? Take the Chelse game last Sunday. Every Chelsea goal came from the central area. Everytime they got the ball Drogba will always position himself in the space where Song should be, in front of Arsenal back four. This also happened in the Man Utd game. For Arsene and ideal defensive midfield player is someone who can attack and defend at the same time, ala Vieira or Gilberto. This type of players are hard to get, as they have incredible stamina combined with natural football iq that would help them make the appropriate decisions quickly and accurately. What I am seeing rite now Wenger is trying to nurture Song and Denilson into a Viera-esque type of players. As he is too reluctant to spend big, he needs both Song and Denilson to quickly develop into the combative all round midfielder he wants them to be. Theres one big flaw in the plan however. Both of them seem short of the required football mind to be like Viera. Denilson is a gifted passer and a very neat player, while Song is strong and good with his tackle. But they both dont have the natural instinct to sense danger and to make the 'arriving late in the penalty area' kind of offense. Denilson seems too afraid to carry the ball forward or make runs forward. He spent most of the time in front of the defense spraying sideway passes again and again. Song is better at carrying the ball forward but lack the judgment on when and where he should be positioned. Everytime Song or Denilson make their occasional forays forward, they just dont have the clue where the danger gonna be coming from. As a result, teams as good as Chelsea and Man Utd would easily find empty spaces to start their counter attack. For me both of them is way off being the Viera or Gilberto that Wenger wants them to be. Viera will never leave empty spaces behind him. If he does, he will always cover the space he left quickly as he knows exactly where the opponents gonna hurt his team. I miss those days when Vieira stuck his long leg out and suddenly we are on the attack again. When the opponents stole the ball and wanted to counter attack, hes already back covering all the spaces the had left vacant. Rite now, Arsenal need another Vieira. Someone needs to tell Arsene that Song and Denilson will never be one.

Outplayed..outworked..outsmarted..the story of Arsenal Champions League Semis.

I have thought that it would end this way. Too many games. Too many lost to endure. I can almost smell defeats when they came sniffing around the corner. As optimistic as I tried to be, deep inside I cant help but preparing myself for the inevitable. Maybe 10% in me hoped that the team can prove me wrong but in the end they proved my doubt right. Arsenal and Man Utd are several class apart. It hurt me to say it but we were dominantly overwhelmed by the devils last nite. I have to say that last nite, Man Utd looked like a European Champion. Defensively superb, offensively outstanding, they were perfect. They said Walcott is having a great season, but Evra didnt let him have a single kick what so ever. They said Arsenal are the best passing team in the league? Well put 3 hardworking but skillful midfielders out and they easily stuffed the air out of Fabregas and co. The less said about Adebayor is better. The guy was simply clueless against Ferdinand and Vidic. See how Vidic handle him? Perfectly timed challenges combined with such elegance completely neutralized the Togo man. And as much as I hate the Moan King Ronaldo, I admit that hes one hell of a player. Hes maybe one of the laziest winger around, but as a forward, where tracking back is not necessary, he was excellent. Toure and Djourou couldnt cope with his movement, pace and power last nite. And lastly, to Alex Ferguson. For once, I took my hat off and bow to you. Last nite you showed the world how tactically great you are. You completely outwitted Arsene with your sound judgment on how the game would turn out. For one nite at least, you are the best football manager in the world. Kudos.

Now lets get back to Arsenal. Im not saying that Arsene's a dud, but he made so, so many mistakes with his judgment last nite. Why the fuck did he send us out flying gung-ho rite at the get go????? We were only down 1-0 for fuck sake!!! Take your time bastard!! Think Liverpool for instance. They were down 3-1 (THREE) but did they started the second leg all out attacking?? Hell no!! Urghh it hurt me thinking about it. Secondly. Adebayor was having a fucking bad season. Get your balls and drop him once Arsene. Remember, we beat Man Utd in the league by playing Bendtner, not Adebayor. The guy was given a total 180minute of humiliation by Ferdinand and Vidic. Thirdly. After 20 minutes you can see what Man Utd were doing. Ronaldo was all over the place picking up spaces and emptying few more. Why or why dear ol Arsene, dont you do anything about it? I was screaming at the telly "STAY IN FRONT OF THE BACK FOUR FUCKER!!! DONT LET RONALDO ALONE IN THERE!! FUCKKKK!!" Sadly, i was the only one screaming. I was hoping to see Arsene get his arse up and screamed at Song to do that but no..he prefer to warmed his tushie up on the bench. Fuck Arsene..you and your lovely kids destroyed my heart last nite. I was crushed. It was infact the biggest game of the season. And we got turned over emphatically in front of our own crowd. It was the worst defeat I have endured in my 12 year Arsenal career...

Im taking a break from football from now on. Good luck Arsenal. Oh rite,,you have to play Chelsea next. Then Man Utd again. You gonna need more than luck for that.

Happy Gomoing!!

Well it was truly the most energy-sapping 3 hours of my life. Eventhough the game was played at a level where Arsenal school boys would be ashamed of, I was totally proud by the effort of all the Selangor players. They worked their socks off, chased for every ball and produced quality when it matters most, although the 'quality' was never at the level that we used to see in other leagues.

Kudos though to both sets of fans who for me, made the game absolutely marvellous. You have to be there to feel it. The singing (by the way, other than 'gomo kelate gomo', the kelantanese were clueless), the chanting and also not to forget the ranting and provocating ( I love 'referee bodoh' and 'kesian die'- hillarious) really kept the atmosphere alive. Unfortunately, the level of football was really killing me. If not for the fans, the game would be a complete snore fest. As an avid football follower as I am, I was totally astonished at the ineptness of the Malaysian players. How can they call themselves professional players when they cant even trap the ball properly is beyond me. At one stage of the match, the ball kept bouncing endlessly without anyone able to take control of it. By the end of the normal time, I was ready to pack my bags and go home. However due to the strong Selangorness (is that even a word?) in me, I decided to fight trough the football pain show and stay until the end of extra time and all the way to penalties, where my home team came out on top ingloriously (you have to attend the game to understand it).

Whoever say that we, the fans, do not support local football can go and eat my stinking shoes. You have to understand the fans needs. We want crisp passing. We want under the bar shooting. We want proper tackling. We want quality. If the quality served to us was as bad as it was tonight, do you expect the fans will come flocking to the stadium? If the game tonight was not a final cup game, I wont dare stepping my foot inside the stadium. I wonder how some of the hardcore fans able to keep up with this. They must be the most passionate type of fans ever existed in the history of football.

To the gendang brothers, I salute you all.
To all the fans attended the game tonight, I take my hat off and salute you all.
To the Malaysian football players, buck up. We fans dont deserve this torture.

Congratulation to Selangor FC. The worthy winners of 2009 Malaysian FA Cup.
All together now.."Inilah barisan kita..yang ikhlas berjuang..siap sedia berkorban....SELANGOR!!SELANGOR!!SELANGOR!!"

O dear sun..please do shine again..

This has been the roughest patch I have ever encountered in my life. Its harder than everything that I have gone through before. It is like being dumped into a deep hole and suffocated to near death. At a time when stability counts for everything, I somehow trembled into one hell of a mess. I want to see the light please. Someone please show me the light. The darkness has smothered me entirely. Im suffocating. I am reaching out to anyone who can guide me. Please...

Im trying to conjure up all my energy to dig myself out of this mess. I shall continue fighting. I am destroying the word LOSE in my life vocab. I shall WIN. You cannot defeat me. I am tough!! You hear that!! I am fucking tough!! Come and get me if you dare!! I shall beat you down!! HUARGHHH!!!!!!

Theres always a way

Yeah..we encounter numerous problems every now and then. Experience shall teach us ways to face them, whether we decide upon ourselves to handle them heads on or to detour around them and hope for the best. We might disgrace ourselves by crying our way out of the mudhole. We might idle our way out of trouble. The truth of the matter is no matter how difficult and hard the problems are the best way is to stand firm and let them hit you. Dont worry if the hit sends you flying 100 yards away. Dont worry about the injuries or casualties. Take it like a man they said. Its the way you gather your strength back and find your way up on those feet that defines what kind of a person you are. Always stay prepared as we never know whats coming. Always expect surprises. Remember, never back down. Never resolve to crying as a solver for everything. Because I know that you are way tougher than what you think you are. :)

I cant imagine theres such ungrateful bunch of people do exist in this world. Talk about the third class mentality. I hope you will burn in hell for such a pathetic excuse of a human being. I dont want you to engage yourself in any kind of relationship with her. You dont deserve her. In fact, you dont deserve anyone. No wonder at the age of 25, you still single. I cant imagine anyone can stand being alongside you for the rest of their lives. Pity your parents eh? Oh i forgot..your father is pathetic as you are. Fuck off bitch.

ARSENAL 4-0 BLAKBURN..maybe this is the Arsenal Wenger has been talking about?

Arsenal overcome a well, sorry to be rude, A DISGUSTING, COWARD, PATHETIC group of people pretending to be footballers with a dominating 4-0 scoreline. I think Big Sam Allardyce is the worst football manger ever existed in the history of football. Seriously, this guy makes football looks like a joke. I thought once he was fired from Newcastle his career was over, but he came back and stood still with his shockingly embarassing brand of football. To think that this fella was once considered as one of the best English coaches available and he was one of the final candidates for the vacant England job. How low the English standard has been eh? All his team ever done is foul and foul and foul. Every throw in and free kick is an oppurtunity to waste time. I'd imagine the whiteboard in the Blacburn locker room would be filled with one 2 diagrams. One is the throw in set piece and the other one is the long ball to Jason Roberts routine. These would be the obly stuff this Blackburn team will do everytime they step their foot onto the pitch. Even Dollah Salleh can think of better than this. What do you expect if he puts 7 players considered as defenders in his line up?This team show no ambition at all to play football. I feel so sorry for the Blackburn fans. To watch this type of football every week must be torturing. How about starting a campaign to sack Allardyce? I'd be happy to join in.

Despite the negative tactics deployed by the opposition, Arsenal stood firm. If I had been Almunia last nite I would smack that Diouf face so hard he would need help just to open his mouth. The guy's antic on the pitch was just pathetic to see. And that tackle was totally out of order. That was the same kind of tackle that broke Eduardo foot. So why no red card ref??
Otherwise, most of the players were having one of their best games in a while. I think Song was a monster yesterday. He was everywhere. He won headers, move forward purposely and he did not waste posession as he used to do. Denilson was decent also, even he did looke tired at the end of the game. And plz dont you guys even think about slaughtering Bendtner. Even after all of those missed chances, he showed lots of improvement lately. He was very enthusiastic, full of running, his touch on the ball very good and most importantly he gets in those dangerous positions to score the goals. Imagine if he converted half of those chances into goals..we would have an incredible player in our hand. Hes only 20 ok..dont forget about that.

Arshavin celebrating his brilliant solo effort..already looking to be a great addition to our squad, and hes not 100% fit yet!!

The trouble with youth

The world is truly going out of order. I knew it already is, but last night I suffered a tremored headache wondering how on earth it can be this way. How did ppl end up being as they are. How ppl end up being someone they are not supposed to be. The question of immorality has been thrown and burnt so long ago. No more care. No more conciousness. The pillars that are supposed to hold the future world are so damaged and dented even the best cannot repair them anymore. Who gave the idea that to have fun is the ultimate problem solver of the lifetime? Who thaught these ppl that every we can overcome every obstacle just by jumping around like some maniacs? Do you guys really think that thats the best way to handle anything? How long it will take till someone finally realize that once all the jumping and screaming are over the problem still exist? Its like "hey that country is at war! lets have a charity concert to show our support!!" What the fuck?

Last nite I somehow found myself sitting at the back of a so called 'charity' concert at my babe workplace. Imagine to sit for 2 hours listening to the some of the most horrifying sounds your ears could ever heard of. Its a total torture!! Most of the audience there were teenagers which is good at first glance, but look a little deeper and you shall see the sickening problem that has invaded the minds of our young ones. Despite the loudness of the place, I couldnt help but noticing the changes that have turned our teenagers into something else. I dont know how to describe it but they just didnt resemble the type of ppl we were hoping they would become. All the hope of producing leaders of tomorrow seems rubbish to these ppl. Put into bed. Maybe they think that to be succesful they just need to look cool?? Everyone wanted to be rappers, rockers, or even Paris Hilton. Cant we ooze coolness just as the way we are? I dont know about you guys but I just cannot stand ppl who try their hardest just to portray coolness in every bit of their action. Do you think its cool to dress like that? Or screaming and shouting like that? Who the hell influence you to be like that? I believe your parents did not expect you to be this way right? Heres the main problem here. From whom these ppl learn to behave such way? Whos the mastermind behind this illegal mind intrusion? Whos the blame for all of this?

I hate it when some africans dress up like a thug rapper. With his red bandana. With his extra large shirt/pants. And that 'cool' sunglasses. Wearing sunglasses at night? Theres no limit to human idiocracy.

I hate it when so called Muslim/Malay try their best to look europeans. Stop it please. That blonde hair doesnt match with our asian fair skin. And that mini skirt..its not like you got pretty leggies like Beyonce.

I hate it to see our Muslim/Malay females screaming and shouting like a whore. Plz show some manners girls. And you with the tudung on!! Stop cuddling with ur boyfriend in public!! You think I like to see u guys touching each other? (Well yeah actually in some way ;P)

p/s : Dafi you suck. You sang like a duck. I wish I can hit you with a hockey puck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

Why did they make us see this? Bored to the max

View from the back. Groups of 'cool' teenagers enjoying themselves up front.

Really?Whoaaa...

I cant believe my eyes when I saw one Alexandre Song lobbed a perfectly timed ball for Eduardo to hit. Why was it so perfect? Coz the ball landed exactly like the striker wanted it to be..on his left peg, not to high and not to low and in the area where the defender was helpless to do anything about it. If Fabregas did that, no surprise then. But we are talking about Song here. THE Song. The one who lumber around the midfield pretending to be a decent footballer. The one who previously was the worst Arsenal player ever (for me that is). And he capped it all of with an audacious backheel, again perfectly weighed for Eboue to score. He outshone Diaby bu miles. Maybe its time we change our perception about this fella eh?

Ok lets balance things a little bit. Other than those two assists, Song was having just an ok-ish display. As usual, he gave away posession too cheaply at times, and somehow managed to conjure few moments of brilliance (other than those two assists..damn it sickening to say about it). As I said Diaby was poor as he reverted to his ball-hogging-difficult-pass habit again. The centre backs were decents and so was the keeper, albeit one missed catch thanks to Diaby. Sagna was awesome, and for once his cross found an Arsenal player. Gibbs was great offensively but defenseively his positioning need to be worked on. Well Eboue..oh sorry Im still barring myself from mentioning him.

Eddy and Vela were outstanding. Velas gonna be a star. Trust me this kid is unbelievable. He may be small but he can ride challenges. And the goal was hellishly brilliant. Same goes to Eduardo. How we missed him in the run in to the title last season. Hes the only striker we got who likes to move his ass around a little bit. Lots of off the ball runnings from this guy. How about that for a volley? Incredible yet cheeky eh?

Things are definitely looking up for the team. Walcotts back and if he keeps making those runs, Arshavin will find him easily. Arshavin might be the one who will make things ticking again. Time and time again he found Walcott without spending too much time dwelling with the ball. His football brain is miles ahead anyone else in the team bar Fabregas. Van Persie who supposed to be our main creative spark, took 5/6 touches before releasing the football while Arshavin took only 2/3 touches. Thats the spped of thought for you. Maybe he can teach some of our so call playmakers (Robin, Nasri, Abou Im talking bout u) to do the same. Hes still doesnt look fit enuff for me though.

p/s : Im still sceptical about Song. Im not saying hes got nothing in his locker but he certainly not yet up the the high standards Arsenal have set for themselves. Until he can produce the same kind of performance week in and week out again then I might change my view on him.

The left footed Thierry Henry to be?

Answer this bitch!!

Last nite a friend asked me, whos my best Arsenal player of all time. Well its easy.

Dennis Bergkamp!! Simply the best player ever donned the red shirt (or maroon) of Arsenal. Technically perfect. He is the only player Wenger couldnt replace. That is just becoz theres no one like him. For 5 years now Arsenal have been searching for a player of his calibre but still come out short everytime. They said Van Persie is the next Bergkamp? Sorry mate u r a long way of touching his ass. I dont think I ever seen a player with football brain as good as Bergkamp's. So all together now.."THERE'S ONLY ONE DENNIS BERGKAMP...WOOOOHOOHOO..THERE'S ONLY ONE DENNIS BERGKAMP!!!"

p/s : In my humble opinion, this guy can be our new Bergkamp. Lets see how the season unfold for him eh? Hes surely the closest we got now.

My new fav song by U2....again

Where The Streets Have No Name

I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name

I want to feel, sunlight on my face
See that dust cloud disappear without a trace
I want to take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We’re still building
Then burning down love, burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you…
(It’s all I can do)

The cities a flood
And our love turns to rust
We’re beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled into dust
I’ll show you a place
High on ta desert plain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with yo
(It’s all I can do

Deep meaningful lyrics symbolizing the world we are living today. Incredible.

And I go there with YOU. Its all we can do..

Oh..wahh..yawnnn***

Arsenal produced one of the performance of all time last night. The passing was incredibly accurate, the shooting was spot on everything was purrrrrrfect. Against a top calibre opposition it was something not many could do. And to top it off, it could be more than 3 goals scored. If not for the opposition goalkeeper, Arsenal could have won up to 6 goals. This is truly a night to remember, with world class players like Arshavin and Nasri gracing the full length of the pitch. Supported by the likes of Denilson and Song, Arshavin terrorised the opposition's defence with unequal sharpness. The manager must be..WAITT!!!

What the fuck? Are you fucking kidding me? Yeah we won 3-1 last night, but a pub team can beat West Brom with defence like that. Arsenal's defence was not that good either. Djourou was hapless. He got to stop giving those cheap fouls soon. Everytime he plays the opposition would gain lots of easy free kicks around the penalty box. Last night was the same. Its easy. Just loop a high ball to your striker. Make sure your striker is marked by Djourou and voilaaa...u got urself a free kick. Its automatic. In midfield Song was a usual fucker as he is, and Denilson..well hes improved a little. No more pathetic coward sideway passing routing from the little guy last night. All were moving forward. Nasri was ok until he got that knock on his ankle. I dont want to talk about Eboue becoz im afraid im gonna say something good about him, which I have forbidded myself from doing so. Its just i dont regard him as an Arsenal player anymore. He doesnt do enuff to earn it for me. Arshavin and Bendtner were the best of the lot out there for me. Bendtner should have added more to his 2 goals. If he does, he would be the man of the match but im giving that to Mr Arshavin today. The guy oozes class. Much better technically than most of our players. Wait until hes 100% fit, and I think he will be big for us.

I wish that I can be Arsene Wenger for a day so I can sell Song to some lower league clubs. The guy is a pathetic defensive midfielder. He doesnt mark tight enuff, and his passing leaves a lot to be desired. Kudos to Diaby and Almunia though. They are slowly changing my view about them. Almunia is slowly become a steady influence at the back and Diaby has shown urgency in his game that was lacking lately. I give credit where its due ok??

"I hope we can play Wast Brom every week!! Yeay!!"

This is something than can never be done again. The greatest football squad ever existed. Unfortunately, no sign of revival seen 5 years on.

Sometimes u just have to stand up and admire..

One of the great mystery of life is the way ppl connected with each other. How the bonds are created among different ppl with diversed background. How a maid can be a minister best friend. How a slave and a princess fall in love with each other. It makes us wonder, what does a person have in him that attract other ppl into him?. Is it something about his looks? Or his persona? Is he that charismatic to be able to make friends with anyone? In my short life I met lots of different ppl who struggle to mingle with ppl who are not in the same wavelength as they are. Even my self always find it hard to be nice to someone who does not comply with my own-made life principle. Some say the key is to be tolerate and accept ppl just the way they are. Unfortunately for us humans we cannot just do that without sacrificing some of our own likings, which is very very hard to do. We always want to get more. We always want others to do more for us. We always expect others to pour more than us. To meet someone who can be so humble to accept us without a single hint of snobbishness is unfortunately reaching the near impossible level.

However as pitiful the world circling around me as it is, I am incredibly fortunate to meet 2 persons in my life who defy the logic of human bonds. These type of homo sapians is facing extinction, and to find 2 of them is very very rare. Imagine, a girl from a tiny little village in some rural northen state has a relationship so great that makes yours truly gaping in awe. And a very successful doctor can be so humble to acknowledge the girl eventhough there is a significant gap in class between them. I am very proud to say that these two ladies are the closest persons to me and I love them with all my hart and soul. Sometimes, you just have to stand up and admire.

Here she is, answering a call from my mom. Man, my mom doesnt even call me as often as she calls her. Poor me :(

This is me suffering from a disturbing feeling of jealousy.

p/s : Heres a challenge for you all. Find a daughter-in-law-to-be who is close with his mother-in-law-to-be. The criteria of closeness are as follows :-
  1. She can come to the mother-in-law-to-be's house anytime she wants. Without even telling her fiance.
  2. She can go out shopping with the mother-in-law-to-be without her fiance attendance.
  3. The mother-in-law-to-be can plan for the wedding without discussing with her fiance, who is the mother-in-law-to-be own son FYI.
  4. The mother-in-law-to-be knows his son is going out with her, but instead of calling him she calls her just to make sure shes fine. And they often have phone conversation for the sake of just talking nonesense.
  5. The mother-in-law-to-be tells her every secret of the family.
  6. They are so close, leaving her own son feeling grief in annoyance. :)

ARSENAL 0 - 0 FULHAM

Told you so. Though this stalemate was way better than the three previous ones. Whos brave enuff to put their money on Arsenal will stay scoreless till the of the season? I would. Heres my 2 cents.

Frustrated.

"They are no pro footballer in anyone of them, they cant run, mark or create space to pass the ball. Bad positioning, lazy. Name it they have it all in this team. And we pay them to do this every week. I will not be watching any gooners match again until the end of season. most of all i blame the coach, he bought the players so he should take the blame." - Megagooner4life
-Totally agree with you lad.

He must be wondering why the fuck he joined a team that cant score
p/s : Please practice shooting/heading Arsene.

100 days and counting

Time passes by effortlessly. Now i only have 100 days left before splashing myself into the dark sea of marriage. I dont know what the future hold for me and my partner, but trust me, I will strive my hardest to brighten up any darkness that shall fall upon me. Together we shall build a life that will surpass any boundaries, that will crush any obstacles, that will create happiness and fun endlessly. The questions of doubt will always linger, but they shall be ignored and handled in the way that will assure myself of being totally ready and comitted to the main cause. No need to worry lads, as sweaty as I am wondering about it, I am thoroughly excited and enthrall about the prospect of a new beginning in my life. Another new chapter. A whole different consequences to face. A storyline that will be written not by myself for the first time. A story that will hopefully will end with tears of happiness.

Lets rejoice for the future that hopefully will bring more joy and happiness into our life.

Be cool. Be calm. Be composed.

Nothing shall stop you from your destiny.

May Allah bless us always.

We have seen this happened before

I dont want to write about the win last nite. I dont like to get excited by Arsenal anymore. Ive been through this shit before. They beat a very good team like Roma before, and gave me hope. A hope that the team can muster a meaningful challenge towards trophy again. A hope that the team can produce the same kind of performance week in and week out. A hope that often vanquished by lethargic displays again and again. So after watching the game last nite, I decided not to talk or be too happy about it. Im gonna take it slow, and still expect the worse come Saturday vs Fulham.

Hoping the team can prove me wrong for once.

Wheres batman Robin?

Oh im so into uploading pictures rite now !! Pt IX

Found this classic picture of Fabregas. Nice mullet captain.

Do they really know each other? Backlash Pt II

Well most sites prefer to rate the performance of the players after every match. That just bollocks or cheap pops for me. Because there will always be someone who will get 7 or 8 marks which were not justified by their performance on the pitch. I read lots of gooners site (A LOT), and most of them insist they watched the game from start to end. Are u kidding me? What game were you watching? And one site gave Nasri 6? What the hell are u thinking? What did he do to get 6/10 is an enigma a professor could not solve.

If I were gonna rate the players, I gave them all 4 with the exception of Clichy who will get 5. Arsenal tend to attack more on the right side nowadays. That makes the right side area congested with more players to cover and protect Sagna. Its a different tale with our left side. Clichy was wayy too overworked. No wonder he was substituted yesterday. He played behind the laziest player ive seen since Sir Bobby Pires and has been running up at down the left flank tirelessly all season long. You cant be doing that for the whole season without getting injured or exhausted at some point. Plus without a proper leftback to back him up, he has to play every game. I hate it when certain sites blame him for the instability of our backline. Fuck off you morons. Give the guy some credit. If you want to blame someone, blame Nasri. This guy is allergic to tracking back and closing down. And if you dont track back, make sure u can counter attack with pace (ala Sir Bobby Pires), which is not happening with Nasri. Everytime he got the ball at the center line the only thing he will do is starting the now famous 'Arsenal Sideway Passing Routine'. And his pace seem to be decreasing as the game goes on. Maybe hes too tired to accelerate or something. This brings me to the point..

No wonder hes too lazy and too slow. Hes busy fucking some french babe. Wait a sec..isnt this the same guy who read his prayer before every game? What the fuck??

p/s : Arshavin didnt do that bad on his debut. A few more games under his belt before judging him please??
