the art of a midfielder...

after watching us trashed the rosenborg last wednesday, finallly the burden after loosing vs man yoo seemed to have got out from the players system.the performance was quite outstanding especially by our two young central midfielders in fabregas and flamini.flamini was always busy closing people down and thankfully made lots of crunching tackles that'd made vieira proud.the boy alongside him just got better and better.after watching the performance of our young spaniard i started to wonder, what make a midfielder a great one?what differ vieira and gerrard?well the most important think of being a central midfielder is u got to kepp your dicipline intact all the time.your main job obviously is to support the back when needed, and then always available when your team's attacking.other things like passing, scoring and tackling just as important to add for the character of a central midfileder.you might ask then, for all their quialities, which one makes the midfielder the best around?some of you might argue but for me the most important skill for a central midfielder have to be tackling.dont get me wrong u have to be good at scoring and passing too,but if u cant tackle you'd get muscled out of the game easily.right now when talking bout the best central midfielders the name of vieira gerrard lampard keane are always mentioned.thank god for me we got the best in vieira.but wait, vieira dont have the range of passing like gerrard an lampaard has.well he doesnt, but he make up for that with his tireless running up and down the field.he always be available whenever his team need him.first time i saw arsenal game was when i was 14 and i remember how i adored vieira that day.everytime the oppeonents(leicester i think) tried to start attacking from the midfield he'll be there stopping the penentrating runners and shut down the room for passes.everytime he tackled he got the ball and bang the arsenal attack started.after eight years he still doing what he does best and the team will keep improving with him onboard.steven gerrard may be the best passer but he always got in the place where the team can do without him.that should say that his dicipline isnt quite good yet.remember when benitez arrived he soundly said that gerrard has to change his style of play from the running all over the place player to the positioning player, who only get forwar when needed to and helping the defence everytime.for me right now lampard is better than him just because his dicipline is much better than gerrad.bout roy keane well he sucks nowadays.the days of the great enforcer of manchaser seem to be ended really soon.he simply doesnt has the legs anymore.that;s why man yoo played like shit lately.

ok guys enough of that.its chelski this weekend.hope fabregas and flamini can stop lampard and co this weekend.plz arsenal dont lose this one...
